With Ewa

Ewa (pronounced ‘eeva’) Highland started her life with dogs in her birth land Sweden. She competed in Obedience and Working Trials and held courses in Puppy Training and Competitive Activity. She has also been chairman of the Young Kennel Club in Stockholm. She began her training and apprenticeship under the guidance of two ‘wonderful’ mentors, eventually becoming Dog Instructor and Dog Behaviour Counsellor.

As well as being instructor in the Blue Cross, Boxer and Miniature Schnauzer clubs, she also runs her own company – “Ewa’s Dog Life”. In this capacity she has been active in every aspect of dog care and training, including the production of two DVDs – one each on Miniature Schnauzer Training and Puppy Training, personally presenting them in each case.

Ewa’ s world-wide success has won her many national and international awards – including: * Swedish, Danish and Finnish Champion * International Champion Veteran World Winner * Junior World Winner * Best Puppy at Crufts.

She constantly updates her education in the latest techniques, while continuing as an instructor and specialising in dog behaviour. She now lives in England with her husband, her horse, and her eight dogs.
